Standard Trading Conditions
All business undertaken by AJ Global Logistics Pte Ltd, including any advice, information or service provided, whether gratuitous or not, is transacted subject to the Standard Trading Conditions of the Singapore Logistics Association (SLA).
These conditions govern, among other things, the basis on which we act (as agent or as principal), the limits of our liability, the time limits for bringing claims, and your obligations regarding the accuracy of information and the description of goods.
We recommend that you read them in full before placing a booking. If your contract requires different terms, please raise this with us in writing before the shipment is arranged.
Key points to be aware of
- Liability is limited in accordance with the conditions. Cargo insurance is not automatically included
- Claims are subject to strict notification and time-bar provisions
- You warrant that the description, weight and classification of the goods are accurate and complete
- Dangerous goods must be declared in advance, with the safety data sheet supplied
